BESL Handover Letter To Fairwater Community & Residents

Following almost two years as Principal Contractor on the largest single-campus educational facility in Wales, BESL is now approaching the full handover of Fairwater Community Campus.

The occupation of the final two schools is scheduled to take place with BESL moving off site from Friday 28^th August. School staff will occupy the buildings from Tuesday 1^st September, with Cantonian pupils phased to return from Wednesday 2^nd September and Riverbank and Woodland pupils phased to return from Monday 7^th September. This will support the transition from construction delivery to education delivery.

The main visitor access to all three schools will be from Fairwater Road, with pupil access for Cantonian being from the south footpath of Doyle Avenue or from Fairwater Road. Pupil transport for Riverbank and Woodlands will be accessible via Doyle Avenue.

Fairwater Community Campus has marked an unforgettable chapter in our company’s history. It has been a privilege to deliver such an important development, and we look forward to seeing the campus serve pupils, families and the wider community for generations to come.
