Basketball Wales Visit Site

Fairwater Community Campus will not only be home to the three schools, Cantonian High, Riverbank and Woodlands, but will also serve as a vibrant hub for the wider community outside of school hours. Its bookable Health & Wellbeing Facilities will include a four-court sports hall, a 3G rugby pitch with a spectator stand, a 7-a-side football pitch, multi-use games areas, external play areas, an activity studio, a gym, and an accessible climbing wall.

We recently welcomed Gavin Williams, Chief Operating Director of Basketball Wales, and Anne-Marie Koukouravas, Vice-Chair, to the site for a tour of the extensive sports facilities being developed. During their visit, they explored the Health & Wellbeing Block and viewed the indoor amenities it will offer, as well as the outdoor courts and pitches.

This visit was a valuable opportunity for Basketball Wales to gain insight into the potential of the site and begin thinking about future collaborations that could take place here.
