BESL/CMB were proud to be invited to the Considerate Constructors Scheme (CCS) Awards Ceremony in Manchester, where our team was honoured with a Bronze Award for the Fairwater Community Campus project in Cardiff.
The CCS Awards recognise projects and organisations across the construction industry that demonstrate exceptional standards in areas including community engagement, environmental awareness, workforce wellbeing, safety and overall consideration towards the public and surrounding environment throughout the construction process.
Receiving this recognition is a fantastic achievement for everyone involved in the Fairwater Community Campus project and reflects the hard work, professionalism and dedication shown by the team throughout the development. The project has been a significant investment for the local area, helping create modern educational facilities and improved spaces for the wider community in Cardiff.
The award highlights the commitment shown on site not only in delivering the project to a high standard, but also in maintaining strong health and safety practices, positive community relationships and a considerate approach throughout every stage of the works.
BESL Operations Director, Bertie Borley, commented:
“It’s great to be recognised by the CCS awards – it’s been a fantastic collaborative effort by the BESL team and our supply chain.”
We would like to congratulate everyone involved in the project and thank all partners, contractors and staff who contributed towards this achievement. Recognition such as this is a reflection of the collective effort across the entire team, and we are extremely proud to have been part of a project receiving national recognition through the CCS Awards.
