Mental Health Awareness Talk At Fairwater Community Campus

This week we welcomed George and Mark from Lyndon’s to the Fairwater Community Campus site to deliver a heartfelt talk on mental health awareness to the BESL team and supply chain.

George spoke about his experience dealing with grief, coping mechanisms for it, suicidal ideations, and how he overcame all of this to get to the place he is at today. He reiterated that there shouldn’t be a stigma against men or those working in construction, from talking openly about their feelings and explained just how much support is available.

At BESL and CMB, we are passionate about mental health and have a team of Mental Health Champions to offer advice and support to all those who may be in need of it.
